How to Download IDA Free 9.0 Guide
With the release of the new version, Hex-Rays has changed the way users download the free version of IDA Pro. Previously, it was a simple and straightforward process, but now you’re required to download a license—even for the free version. This change can be a bit confusing, so I’ve put together this step-by-step guide to help anyone who wants to download IDA Free 9.0.
First of all log into your Hex Rays Account by visiting https://my.hex-rays.com/login and go to Shop at My hex-rays page
You will land to Shop page, click Add item.
Click on Product offering drop down menu. and select IDA Free Plan option.
Next open up Billing Information section and put your billing Information. and Click on Order
When successful you will be shown your billing information and order summary. simply click My account button to go back to your account page.
Now you need to activate your IDA Free License. you can do it by clicking on three dots in front of the License and Selecting Assign option.
A side window will reveal asking for some custom details. now because we are getting IDA Free version so we don’t have default decompilers option that we cannot change, just put your email address and click assign and click again to confirm.
At last when activated you can download your license key as well as any version of IDA Free mentioned in Download center.
