Challenge Discription: Sometimes I worry about my friend... he's way too into memes, he's always smiling, and he's always spouting nonesense about some "forbidden app." I don't know what he's talking about, but maybe you can help me figure it out! All I know is a username he used way back in the day. Good luck! Flag format is sdctf{flag} ( username = DanFlashes )
Let’s OSINT
The Description mentioned “forbidden app” and “meme” so I started my search with those.
and got this result mentioning “iFunny app”
I search “iFunny”, and end up finding the website “ifunny.co”
In this website we can see username mentioned under the post
if we click on it it will open the corresponding user profile with this URL format
I tried replacing the username with username provided in the description and found out that this profile does not exist anymore.
then I remember word “way back” from the description, It could be a hint for “wayback machine”. So I opened the archive website and searched with the complete URL.
